To me, the HXR-NX70 supplements my NEX-VG20 perfectly. A great field camera for guerilla style doco making. It has heaps of features- a bit of a learning curve on manual controls. Super light – it supports great long days of shooting. While, this amazing gadget still makes me frustrated sometimes when I intend to edit HXR-NX70 1080/60p AVCHD in FCP.
The occurred problem is that the Final Cut Pro cannot ingest the full hd 1080/60p AVCHD files natively. I searched the solution to it and find that to transcode HXR-NX70 AVCHD to Apple ProRes for FCP is the best choice.
